Marianne Barron has kindly stepped up to the plate and will be telling the story of St. Patrick. Fair play Marianne! Marianne plans to host this event at Nordnes Bydelshus on Saturday 27th of February 3 pm. This event is very fitting as St. Patrick’s day is around the corner and it will be an ideal way of learning the children about what the day actually is all about. Marianne also hopes (if the interest is there) to have some other storytelling events which would tell the story of Irish mythology like The Salmon of Knowledge, Tir na nOg, Children of Lir, etc. If you feel that your child (ren) would be interested in this, then drop Marianne a line via email bergen.irish@outlook.com.
